Four romantic getaways in New England

New England is famous for its historic inns, famous luxury resorts and intimate bed & breakfast. But now add in the varied and surprising landscapes, sandy beaches, rocky coastlines and lakes and mountains, and you have the ultimate choice for romantic getaways.

But where I would choose to visit and live? Here are four goals for romantic getaways in New England, which would always make my list.

ACADIA REGION in Maine:

Travel farther north by shopping cartOutlets and the Boothbay Harbor region and enter another Maine, the dramatic coastline, pretty villages and islands, and Acadia National Park. Here you can cycle on roads with breathtaking views of transport, walking through quiet woods or hike to the summit, or you drive on scenic roads.

Visit the park, but then take slip away to Deer Isle in Penobscot Bay and the historic villages of Castine and Stonington, or travel north to the Schoodic Peninsula and the coastal tour along Route 1where fishing villages dot the secluded bays and harbors to the Canadian border. Places to stay specialize in romantic getaways, can be found in Bar Harbor and Ellsworth both border gates Acadia National Park.

BERKSHIRE HILLS, Massachusetts:

Most found the rolling Berkshire Hills in western Massachusetts has long been among the rich and famous, but in recent times by the search for an alternative to the crowded beaches and trails of more New England popular destinations. In the valleys located between the mountains and along rivers and streams, are villages in that allow the course of the day you discover the nature and Shakespeare in the night or a musical experience in each of the towns dotting the region. This is also a recommended place for romantic getaways leaves.

The Berkshires are also home to many centers of New England's most exclusive resorts and historic inns in the towns of Lenox and Stockbridge.

CAPE> CSB in Massachusetts:

Drive a few miles from the tourist port of Hyannis, and enter what the locals call the rest or lower Cape. This is the Cape Cod National Seashore area with miles of uninterrupted sandy beaches, beautiful cliffs, dunes and sea. Take a walk through the salt marshes or visit historic sites and see for yourself erode the powers of nature and redistribute land in this geological wonder.
